I have been trying for a while to get financing for a new car. When I say new I actually mean used, but a new one other than the one I drive now! I thought that it might be easier to get financing for Used Cars with a bad credit rating but it still proved difficult. Its not like my credit rating is very bad, but a couple of mistakes in college is all it takes to have a black mark against your name.

A friend put me onto Drivetime which unlike a lot of other dealers actually does give financing to people with bad credit history. The amount of times I went to a place where they said they would finance me even with my credit history and it all ended up in ‘sorry, bad credit’ was innumerable – so you can imagine how happy I was to find Drive Time.

I now have a great new/used car and seeing as though I am not the guy I was in college, I am making the repayments on time, and am even a bit ahead, so their gamble on a guy with bad credit is paying off!
